The Crawleys are returning. Downton Abbey 2 — the sequel to the first Downton Abbey film from 2019 — has officially been announced, with production starting last week and Dominic West having joined the cast.

ish.The series’ full cast will reunite for a sequel to the 2019 “Downton Abbey” movie, a spinoff of the six-season masterpiece drama by Julian Fellowes which aired in the US between 2011 and 2015. Variety reported that production is already underway, with a release date scheduled for Dec.

As Lady Crawley says, there’s never a dull moment! Downton Abbey 2 is officially in the works, and the film is coming sooner than you’d think.
