Billie Eilish has announced an OVERHEATED event in London in order to help tackle the ongoing climate crisis.According to a press release, “Following last year’s highly coveted, multi-day climate-focused event in London, OVERHEATED will return on Wednesday, August 30 to Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace in West London from 10am to 5pm.”Climate activists, musicians along with other leading voices will be in attendance for a day which will be “filled with discussion, community building and resources to help tackle the climate crisis, roller skating and delicious plant-based food” from Neat Burger. Eilish will also be making an appearance.The event will be hosted by BBC’s Abbie McCarthy and will feature panels with special guests such as Earthrise CEO Alice Eady, fashion entrepreneur Samata Pattinson, and climate activists Dominique Palmer and Tori Tsui along with others.Tickets for OVERHEATED will go on sale on August 16 at 10am BST.

Aaron and Bryce Dessner of The National, have announced details of their self-titled debut album and shared its lead single.‘Complete Mountain Almanac’ was formed after Karijord set out to make an album “about climate change in 12 suites, representing the 12 months of the year,” and approached her friend of 15 years, Jessica – who works as a poet, dancer and multimedia artist based in Italy – to contribute “poetic and lyrical” elements to the project.The band and album’s title came from a book of poetry written by Jessica in the wake of her breast cancer diagnosis, as well as coming to reflect the environmental themes on the record. Billie Eilish has teamed up with Lisa Simpson in the latest Disney+ Simpsons short – you can watch a snippet of When Billie Met Lisa below.The short, which was released yesterday (April 22), features Eilish and her brother, Finneas, as well as the pop star duo’s mother and father, as they invite Lisa to a jam session in the studio.Lisa, who begins the short looking for a quiet place to practice her saxophone, is discovered by the chart-topping pair playing the instrument under a bridge. Once they get to the studio, Eilish fires her in-house orchestra in favour of Lisa and the pair get to work on putting a new spin on The Simpsons theme song.You can can see a clip from the episode below:We, too, would profusely sob at the chance to jam with @BillieEilish.
