AT&T's WarnerMedia has tapped former Hulu executive Johannes Larcher to oversee the global rollout of its HBO Max streaming service. Larcher will join the firm in August as head of HBO Max International, reporting to Gerhard Zeiler, chief revenue officer of WarnerMedia and president of WarnerMedia International Networks.He has overseen Arabic language streamer Shahid VIP in his current role as managing director, digital at Dubai-based Middle Eastern media firm MBC Group.

AT&T's WarnerMedia said on Monday that it has named Priya Dogra its newpresident of WarnerMedia Entertainment Networks, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) & Asia Pacific (APAC), based in London. She replaces Giorgio Stock, who left the the role on June 30, and will also continue her responsibilities as executive vp, strategy & corporate development for WarnerMedia for now.

The former Turner Europe, Middle East and Africa president took on the new role, based in London, last summer, but said he is now looking for new opportunities.

AT&T on Thursday said WarnerMedia will take control of its Xandr advertising unit, to be run by WarnerMedia chief revenue officer Gerhard Zeiler. The move follows Brian Lesser, who launched Xandr in 2017, last month leaving the telco giant.
