Coachella 2024 have been announced by organisers, alongside details of advance ticket sales.The festival has confirmed its return to the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California for the weekends of April 12-14 and April 19-21. Brian Kinnes, who didn't attend Coachella, stitched together footage from over 150 YouTube clips, all shot by fans in the crowd, to make an 80-minute long video of the controversial set.

Brian Kinnes, who did not attend Coachella, stitched together about 150 videos uploaded by concertgoers to YouTube, TikTok and Twitter to make an unofficial, multi-cut film that accounts for the entirety of Ocean’s set, which spanned about one hour and 20 minutes. Kinnes launched his film online Tuesday and, that same day, received a cease and desist order from entertainment company AEG, demanding that Kinnes “remove and destroy all audio and video content […] of musical performances from the Festival.”

Goldenvoice, the promoter behind Coachella, is actively trying to figure out how to use the ditched ice rink that was custom-built for Frank Ocean's headlining set, Billboard reports. They're reportedly hoping to incorporate it into the second weekend of the festival in some fashion in order to help mitigate the losses stemming from Ocean's cancellation of his performance on Sunday, which will reportedly cost the festival "several million dollars." The rink, constructed for an onstage performance of over 100 ice skaters and the most expensive element of the production, was nixed by Ocean the day of his performance after the singer was injured on the festival grounds.
