New York-based soul and funk duo LION BABE have shared their newest single and it’s a cover of a classic. The group reimagine Frank Ocean‘s breakout hit, “Thinkin Bout You” with a classic house twist, blending in a booming four-on-the-floor beat with Jillian Hervey’s soulful vocals.
The song is the debut single from their upcoming record, The House of LION BABE, which is their third studio album, following 2019’s Cosmic Wind and 2021’s Rainbow Child. The LP is set to be a dance music project, diversifying the duo’s distinctive R&B roots, and is expected to arrive late this fall.
