The story is based on the fake trailer that Roth made 16 years ago for Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez’s double feature “Grindhouse.” Rae confirmed the news, which was first reported by Deadline, on Instagram with the caption “Let’s eat.”

Roth handed over the reins on two weeks of reshoots to his pal Miller, because he has to get going with Thanksgiving, the horror film based on a mock trailer that Roth made for the Quentin Tarantino & Robert Rodriguez Grindhouse film. Roth has not been fired, despite a flurry of speculative reports to the contrary.

It would seem as if every Quentin Tarantino film always features at least one surprising, standout performance. The headline actors always deliver, but the real surprise is how amazing some of the supporting cast turns out to be, as those characters often are the more risky, interesting roles.

Written and directed by Roth, the 30-minute, 180-degree VR experience will premiere in Meta’s Horizon Worlds and Meta Quest TV on Friday, Oct. 21, at 6 p.m. PT. Lionsgate  and The Roku Channel have closed a multiyear theatrical output deal for theatrically released Lionsgate films beginning with the studio’s 2022 theatrical releases, the companies announced on Tuesday.Under the terms of the agreement, The Roku Channel will receive two separate windows for each film, the first of which provides exclusive rights to Lionsgate’s film slate immediately following its first window on Starz.The agreement will include properties such as the “John Wick” action franchise, “Expendables 4,” and Eli Roth’s “Borderlands,” starring Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Jamie Lee Curtis and Jack Black.Also on the Roster, Kelly Fremon Craig’s “Are You There God? Ghost Adventures host Zak Bagans is staying in business with discovery+. The paranormal investigator, executive producer and filmmaker has signed a new three-year deal with the streaming platform. Under the pact, Bagans will star in and produce over 100 hours of supernatural and horror content for the discovery+ portfolio, including new seasons of the hit series Ghost Adventures, semi-scripted series The Haunted Museum, along with additional specials and untitled creative projects in the works.
