Ever since revitalizing his career in the original “John Wick,” Reeves has cemented his place as an icon both onscreen and off.

Keanu Reeves is bringing the wrath in the final, adrenaline-filled trailer for. The latest preview for the anticipated sequel in the ongoing revenge film franchise sees the star getting back into action as he faces off with new foes in hopes of defeating The High Table. «And so it begins,» Winston Scott (Ian McShane) says before Wick is seen getting into gunfight after gunfight with various new and unexpected enemies, including Shamier Anderson as The Tracker, Hiroyuki Sanada as Shimazu, Donnie Yen as Caine, Bill Skarsgård as The Marquis de Gramont and many others. Rounding out the cast is Laurence Fishburne as The Bowery King, Lance Reddick as Charon, Rina Sawayama as Akira, Scott Adkins as Killa as well as McShane, who is also appearing in his fourth film. Directed by Chad Stahelski and written by Shay Hatten and Michael Finch, Reeves told ET that «there's new characters, more world-building» in the newest installment in the series.

Wick’s latest adventure follows the retired assassin as he travels from New York to Paris to Japan to Berlin to fight against the world’s most powerful players in the criminal underworld. As he faces off with new enemies, Wick reunites with some allies and uncovers that old friends have turned into foes. Director Chad Stahelski has teased that the latest installment is the franchise’s longest film to date, and revealed “Chapter 4” will explore the mythology behind the Continental Hotel — the refugee location for the assassins and focal point for the “John Wick” franchise.

Patrick Frater Asia Bureau Chief Sakra, a big-budget martial arts fantasy directed and starring Donnie Yen, is heading for a North American theatrical and digital release. Rights to the film were acquired by WellGo USA which is a major stateside purveyor of Chinese and other Asian titles. The company has set dates in April for a theatrical outing, shortly followed by a release to digital platforms, according to an emailed conversation with its president and CEO Doris Pfardrescher. Other details of its release and marketing campaign have yet to be finalized. The film, a mainland China-Hong co-venture, was released in theaters in several territories in Southeast Asia in late January in time for the Lunar New Year holiday peak season. In China, it did not join the New Year scramble for screens and instead was released straight to streaming.

The company has raised very substantial finance from Asian sources and aims to develop and produce series which it will pitch and license to the platforms, without recourse to the OTT companies’ production funding, greenlighting and editorial constraints.
