The New York Police Department are investigating an incident earlier this week in which it is alleged that Travis Scott punched a man in the face and caused thousands of dollars worth of damage to equipment at a nightclub in the city. The alleged incident took place at Manhattan's Nebula on Tuesday night (February 28), where Don Toliver was hosting an after-party following a performance to promote new album Love Sick at Irving Plaza.

Travis Scott is being accused of causing $12,000 worth of damage at Manhattan, New York City nightclub Nebula early Wednesday morning.

The New York Police Department wants to question rapper Travis Scott about an alleged assault on a man at a Manhattan nightclub, Fox News Digital has learned. "As of right now there is no one being sought in regard to the incident," the NYPD revealed. "However, the investigation is ongoing." Scott allegedly got into a physical altercation with a sound engineer at the nightclub amid a heated argument, according to multiple reports.

Officers from the New York City Police Department confirmed to Variety that the assault occurred at Club Nebula in Midtown Manhattan around 2 a.m. “A 52-year-old male and the 31-year-old male got into a verbal dispute which escalated into a physical altercation,” a representative said. “The victim was punched in the face and there was subsequent damage to an audio speaker [and] a video screen causing about $12,000 in damages. The investigation is ongoing.” No arrests have been made.

The Los Angeles-based imprint will operate as a new label with Columbia Records of Sony Music Entertainment and begin operations immediately, with an artist roster to be announced in the coming weeks.
