Adore Delano, the reality TV star contestant best known for her appearances on RuPaul’s Drag Race and American Idol, came out as transgender to her 2 million Instagram followers last Wednesday.In the video, which now has 1.5 million views and over 200,000 likes, the co-runner-up of Season 6 of Drag Race explained that she had been privately transitioning for about three months.“There’s no way to start this video or this announcement or whatever without being awkward as hell,” Delano said as she started the video, explaining that comments online regarding her gender identity were one cause for the video. “I wanted to let everybody know that I am transitioning, and I kept it really of hush-hush the first three months because I wanted to go through the beginning stages of the puberty privately,” she said.

For those queens who make it to RuPaul’s Drag Race and don’t win, it seems there’s always a hope that they can come back for RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars and try again. There’s almost always a hope, that is.There have now been nearly 200 contestants who have walked into the werk room, and a handful of them are sure to never do so again.

Courtney Act has said she still loves watching RuPaul's Drag Race despite claiming there is "hypocrisy" on the show and lifting the lid on her feud with the show's creator RuPaul.The 40 year old – whose real name is Shane Jenek – has written her first memoir, Caught In The Act, saying in the book she "didn't feel a human connection" with 61 year old RuPaul when filming the show. Courtney was a runner-up on the US version of the reality show alongside Adore Delano, being beaten to the crown by Bianca Del Rio.

Lorraine Kelly, Mel C and Chris Hughes have teamed up for a new ITV drag show.  In a one-off special, a cast of celebrities will channel their inner drag queens for Queens For The Night, set to launch on ITV and ITV Hub later this year.

Despite notching up a perfect score of 40 from the judges, Courtney Act and her dance partner Joshua Keefe failed to take home the Mirrorball Trophy in Sunday night’s grand finale of Dancing With The Stars: All Stars.  The pair were in line to become the first ever same-sex dance team to win any of the franchises of the show, but instead had to be happy with once again taking the runner-up position.Courtney (whose non-drag name is Shane Jenek) and Joshua danced a freestyle routine to Harry Styles’ Treat People with Kindness.
