ENHYPEN will be dropping a brand-new special album next month titled ‘Memorabilia’ for their original webcomic Dark Moon.ENHYPEN announced the new album on April 29 at midnight KST via the official social media channels for Dark Moon, the original webcomic and novel based on the ENHYPEN members. Titled ‘Memorabilia’, the special album is due out on May 13 at 6pm KST.The announcement also included the first teaser image, which features a pile of VHS tapes with various labels, which comes together to spell “What we must never lose”.

The latter has since gone viral and subsequently made its debut on the Billboard Hot 100 at Number 91, making it the only debut song by a K-pop act to achieve such a feat.The girl group – comprising Wonhee, Minju, Iroha, Moka and Yunah – were formed through the JTBC reality TV series R U Next?. ENHYPEN has been arrested for allegedly misusing a boarding pass to entering the transit area of Singapore’s Changi Airport in order to meet the band.A 25-year-old woman was arrested on January 22 after she allegedly misused a boarding pass in order to gain access to the airport’s transit area in an attempt to meet K-pop ENHYPEN, per local news outlet The Straits Times. The group were departing from Changi Airport after performing in Singapore on January 20 and 21, as part of their ongoing world tour.Local police told The Straits Times that she was arrested in violation of Singapore’s Infrastructure Protection Act 2017, which bars people from entering protected places in the airport with no intention of leaving the country.

ENHYPEN singer Sunoo will be pausing his scheduled activities due to health concerns, and consequently will not be appearing at KCON LA this weekend.On August 17, the singer’s label, Belift Lab, issued a statement announcing Sunoo’s condition, stating that he had made a visit to the doctor that same day after experiencing bouts of dizziness, headaches and chills. “Following the advice by the medical staff, Sunoo will take a rest and focus on recovery for the time being,” shared Belift Lab, as translated by Soompi. The label shared that while Sunoo himself “strongly wishes” to do so, he will be unable to perform with the rest of ENHYPEN at KCON LA 2022 – which takes place in Los Angeles from August 19-21 – as a result.

ENHYPEN singer Jay has tested positive for COVID-19, and will be halting his activities with the group for the time being.On July 21, music label Belift Lab published a statement to South Korean outlet Mydaily announcing that the Korean-American idol has been diagnosed with COVID-19 after positive results on both a rapid antigen test and a PCR test on the same day.“He is currently showing symptoms like mild sore throat and body aches and is being treated at home away from the other members,” Belift Lab’s statement read, as translated by Soompi. The label then added that all remaining members of ENHYPEN tested negative on self-testing kits after Jay’s diagnosis.“As such, Jay will not be able to participate in ENHYPEN’s schedule for the time being.
