A man was rushed to hospital following a crash outside a pub in Cheshire.

A person was taken to hospital after a crash between a motorbike and a car on a main road in Whitefield.
Emergency services including police, firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the smash on Bury New Road just after 4.30pm yesterday (Tuesday). One person was treated at the scene by fire crews then taken to hospital.
The extent of their injuries is not known at this stage. The vehicles were then 'made safe' by responders.

A picture taken at the scene yesterday showed a cordon in place on a stretch of the road. Several emergency services were stationed at the scene with a car and motorbike inside the tape.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: "Just after 4:30pm on Tuesday 17 May one crew from Whitefield fire station attended a road traffic collision involving a car and a motorcycle on Bury New Road, Whitefield.
"One person was treated at the scene by firefighters before being conveyed to hospital by colleagues from North West Ambulance Service. The crew made the vehicles safe and departed after around an hour-and-a-half at the scene."
The Manchester Evening News has also contacted the North West Ambulance Service for information. Greater Manchester Police did not provide any further details.
