The Blues continued their momentum by beating Sheffield United in the FA Cup semi-final to make it 16 games unbeaten and head into their match with Arsenal knowing they can take full control of the Premier League title race. Despite their form and results, Guardiola insists that their performance over two legs against Bayern convinced him they need more if they are to keep winning and edging closer to their goals for the season.

"I have the feeling that I don't know if the [performance in the] games against Bayern will be enough to win tomorrow or to get to the final of the Champions League. In some departments, we have to improve."
