Travis Scott‘s Astroworld Festival sold out its full 100,000 ticket allocation for 2021 in under an hour yesterday (May 5).The rapper is bringing his festival back to his home city of Houston, Texas this year after plans for a 2020 edition were scrapped due to the coronavirus pandemic.Now expanded to become a two-day event for 2021, Astroworld confirmed yesterday (May 5) that all 100,000 tickets for this year’s festival sold out within an hour of going on sale.The line-up for Astroworld 2021 –

Is Matthew McConaughey really a viable candidate? A new poll conducted by The Dallas Morning News and the University of Texas at Tyler shows that 45% of registered voters who participated would vote for McConaughey over current Governor Greg Abbott. By contrast, 33% of voters in the April 17 poll said they would back Abbott; just 22% of participants would vote for someone else. That’s if McConaughey were to run.

While Matthew McConaughey continues to weigh a potential campaign for Texas governor, he’s already got a commanding lead over incumbent Greg Abbott, according to a new poll.  The 51-year-old Oscar-winner previously said that a move into politics is a "true consideration" for him.The Texas native has been teasing a potential run against Abbott for weeks, previously telling the host of "The Hugh Hewitt Show" that "it would be up to the people more than it would me" whether or not he pivots his

Of the 37 per cent who identified as Republican voters, only 30 per cent said they would support McConaughey, compared to the 56 per cent who would vote for Abbott.Among the 30 per cent of voters who identified as Democrats, two-thirds said they would vote for McConaughey over Abbott, who received eight per cent.

It appears that Matthew McConaughey will have the support of Texans if he decides to run for the role of Governor in his home state.
