Police are investigating an alleged incident of assault and criminal damage after Love Island’s Chris Hughes was seen in an altercation with a photographer on Tuesday night.The former Love Island star was seen arguing with a man as he left the star-studded event at London’s O2 arena alongside girlfriend Jesy Nelson. According to reports, Chris allegedly rowed with the photographer after he thought he called him a “c**t”.

It was a good night for Irish actors and shows as some of the biggest winners of the night hailed from our shores.

Hosted by David Walliams, the award show celebrates several categories including best factual entertainment programme, best comedy and best serial drama, among others.
