To say that the COVID pandemic threw a wrench in the plans of filmmakers all around Hollywood is a vast understatement. Film productions were halted, schedules were postponed, and release dates were more like release suggestions as studios still try to figure out how to distribute a movie in a profitable way.

Oscar Isaac has (finally!) confirmed that he will indeed play the lead of Marvel's series, rounding out the studio's roster of superheroes making their MCU debut on Disney+.Though Isaac was first linked to the role in late 2020 and has since teased as much on social media, a confirmation was notably absent during December's Disney Investor Day, when Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige confirmed Iman Vellani as Ms.
