Paul Feig to Direct Fantasy ‘The School For Good and Evil’ for Netflix

Will Smith is set to play a Black man fighting for his freedom in the upcoming runaway-slave movie, Emancipation, helmed by Training Day director Antoine Fuqua. It is the real-life story of a slave named Peter, who goes through the swamps of Louisiana and eventually joins the Union Army.

Paul Feig has lined up his next feature film, and it appears the comedy director is venturing into the world of YA fantasy in the new film, “The School of Good and Evil.” According to THR, Feig will direct the feature, based on the novel “The School of Good and Evil” written by Soman Chainani.
