The three-time Primetime Emmy Award-winning actress’ death was announced through her manager, Larry Thompson, who issued a statement on behalf of Cicely’s family on Thursday. “With heavy heart, the family of Miss Cicely Tyson announces her peaceful transition this afternoon.
