Latest ‘Wheel of Fortune’ disaster has fans ‘screaming at the TV’

long series of controversial on air moments, Tuesday night’s “Wheel of Fortune” episode has social media watchdogs barking about the show’s “dumbest moment ever.”The frustrating episode featured three contestants taking a whopping eight turns and 10 attempts to solve the puzzle: “Another feather _n yo_r _a_” While the correct answer was simply “Another feather in your cap,” the players took several tries to get there — and it left viewers very frustrated.Possibly bad game player Laura Machado had three guesses to win as host Pat Sajak and legendary letter-tuner Vanna White looked on. However, Machado’s maddening wrong answers included: “Another feather in your hat,” “Another feather in your lap” and “Another feather in your map.”Meanwhile, fellow contestant Christopher Coleman didn’t guess any of the correct letters and landed on Bankrupt when he twirled TV’s most infamous wheel.Thomas Lipscomb also scored a Bankrupt and Lose a Turn for his first two times in the hot seat.

'Wheel of Fortune' host Pat Sajak jokingly walks off set after unprecedented grand prize win

Just when "Wheel of Fortune" fans thought they’d seen everything, the show shocked them again with an unprecedented third grand prize bonus round win in one week.  For the third day in a row, the contestant who made it to the game show’s bonus round managed to not only solve the puzzle but earn the top prize of $100,000, something that has never been done in the show’s nearly 40-year history. Not only has the grand prize payout not been given out more than once in a single week, but this latest streak also happened on back-to-back days.  After Tuesday’s surprising second win in a row, Yahoo Entertainment reports that Sajak opened the show by joking about how much money had been given away in just the past 48 hours.  Pat Sajak jokingly walked off the set of ‘Wheel of Fortune’ (Eric McCandless/ABC via Getty Images) "Monday we gave away $100,000 in the Bonus Round," the host said.
