An advocacy group in Ecuador has created a fund to help LGBTQ people and Venezuelan refugees in the country during the coronavirus pandemic.

When the novel coronavirus crisis hit, Jennifer Pastiloff’s entire livelihood, like that of so many others, suddenly was upended. As an author, international speaker, workshop and retreat leader, all her events were canceled until the summer and possibly beyond.

Rihanna is back again with yet another major donation to help out during this hard time that many people are experiencing due to the spread of COVID-19. This time, she and her Clara Lionel Foundation have teamed up with Twitter/ Square CEO Jack Dorsey to make a joint donation of $4.2 million to domestic violence victims.

Sandra Bullock is doing her part to help frontline workers battling the coronavirus pandemic by donating 6,000 N95 masks to hospitals in Los Angeles. The actress’ boyfriend, Bryan Randall, shared an image of Bullock standing behind a worker at the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles as he accepts three large yellow boxes that are presumably filled with the highly effective masks.
