J-pop boy band JO1 (pronounced "jay-oh-one") shoots to No. 1 on the latest Billboard Japan Hot 100 (dated March 2 to 8) with its debut single, "INFINITY." The new 11-member group, formed through the audition program PRODUCE 101 JAPAN, led physical sales with 344,299 copies sold and also topped Twitter mentions, where they have charted for seven weeks.

LDH JAPAN -- home of popular J-pop vocal and dance groups EXILE, Sandaime J SOUL BROTHERS, GENERATIONS, E-girls and more -- has announced it will make approximately 40 of its artists' live concert footage available for streaming on its official YouTube channel free of charge for a limited lime until the end of the month.

After the massive success of BTS' latest album, Map of the Soul: 7, the septet will soon be gearing up for the Map of the Soul Tour, which will kickstart in the US and end in Japan. However, initial tour dates had four concerts in South Korea, which were recently cancelled due to coronavirus outbreak. The MOTS tour dates were April 11, 12, 18 and 19, which has now been cancelled with ARMY getting their refunds back. Even when BTS performed at music shows, it was to an empty audience.

Slipknot is the latest act to put shows on ice due to fears over the fast-spreading coronavirus. The masked metalers announced on Wednesday (March 4) that they were postponing a tour of Asia that included stops at the Singapore Rock Fest (March 24), Hammersonic Festival in Jakarta, Indonesia (March 27) and the Amoranto Stadium in Manila, Philippines (March 29).
