Paddy McGuinness has shared it's "such a relief" to finally undergo his knee operation after waiting for six months.The 48 year old, who recently shared his funny response after finding a cat in his Tesco bag, took to his Instagram to provide an update on his health after going under the knife for a torn lateral meniscus. Sharing before and after photos of the surgery, Paddy's knee looked swollen and sore in the first while the second showed it all bandaged up. In the caption he wrote: "Before and after.

His wife Christine, 33, who recently said her autism makes eye contact "painful", immediately replied: "Nurse McGuinness at your service," with a red heart emoji and a nurse emoji. Paddy's pal Keith Lemon commented: "Hope ya reet x," as Eamonn Holmes shared: "Good luck Paddy," with three clapping hands emojis. Dermot O'Leary said: "Get you back on SA in no time… maybe not in goal," while Ugo Monye added: "Rest up big man x".
Paddy later took to his Instagram stories to share: "Been in hospital for a knee op, thought I'd use the time to catch up on Ozark. PS. I'm still slightly sedated."
