Oscars enlist Will Packer to produce 94th ceremony

It may have taken a year longer than normal, but Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences president David Rubin said Monday that Jennifer Fox is returning to again produce the Governors Awards. She ppreviously produced the 2018 and 2019 ceremonies.

The current lowdown on the Adapted Screenplay category will sound very familiar to a number of other races this awards season. There are just one or two likely locks for a nomination (in this case, Jane Campion‘s adaptation of Thomas Savage‘s novel, “The Power of the Dog”) and a slew of other films arguably in the mix.

The all-star cast of Marvel Studios' much anticipated new movie Eternals took to the red carpet for the film's premiere in Hollywood, where Angelina Jolie and her kids stole the show. The star posed alongside her children Maddox, 20, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15, and 13-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox — sadly Pax, 17, skipped the family outing.

It looks as though Angelina Jolie is somewhat of a fashion inspiration to her children, as her 16-year-old daughter opted for her mother’s old Oscars dress on the red carpet.

Dawn Hudson, the longtime CEO of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, will not seek an additional term when her current contract ends in May 2023, the Academy announced on Monday.  Hudson took the position in the summer of 2011, after the retirement of Bruce Davis, the Academy’s longtime executive director.
