Mitchell Ryan was an actor known for many roles, including the villainous General Peter McAllister in “Lethal Weapon.”Ryan began a stage career, including work on Broadway, after serving in the U.S. Navy. After several small TV appearances, he broke out with a role on “Dark Shadows,” playing ex-convict Burke Devlin.

Johnny Brown was an actor and comedian best known for his starring role in “Good Times,” playing building superintendent Nathan Bookman.Brown got his start doing comedy, including winning an amateur night at the Apollo Theater. He worked on Broadway and had a recording career with songs including “Walkin’, Talkin’, Kissin’ Doll” before getting his break on TV.

In person award ceremonies are back and the American Cinema Editors guild did something different this time around. Instead of a dinner, this year’s ACE Guild Awards took place at the historic Ace Hotel Theater in downtown Los Angeles.

Those performing and presenting at the awards ceremony, on the other hand, will not need to show proof of vaccination, but will be tested rigorously.This marks a shift in the Academy’s COVID-19 policy, as it was reported on Feb.
