Oscars 2020: See All the Looks From the Red Carpet

Whether the nominees took home a golden statue or not Sunday, it was clear they all looked like winners upon arriving at the 92nd Academy Awards, rocking some of the most expensive jewels and accessories one can only find at the Oscars.

To celebrate a fantastic night of glitz and glamour at the 2020 Oscars, stars flocked to the Vanity Fair afterparty looking as fabulous as they did for the official red carpet… if not, more so!

Jennifer Aniston missed out on the 92nd Academy Awards but the Friends alum was present for the star-studded after party with co-star and friend Courteney Cox. The actresses twinned in black for the night as they attended the after party hosted by Netflix in West Hollywood, California. Jennifer and Reese Witherspoon, for a change, did not make an appearance. The duo celebrated the night with Marriage Story winner Laura Dern who took home the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress. 

Hollywood's finest stepped out for the biggest night of the year, the 92nd Academy Awards, with stars hitting the red carpet at the star-studded bash. Parasite was the first ever foreign language film to scoop the Best Picture Award.The film, directed by Bong Joon-ho, won four awards in total, including Best Director.

Laura Dern just won her first Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her remarkable performance in Marriage Story and while interacting with media, backstage, the actress said she would like to share it with director Greta Gerwig, who could not make it to the list of nominations despite her outstanding work.

The director channeled Old Hollywood with her olive green Dior gown, which featured a sweetheart neckline and delicate fringe finish on the skirt hem.

At the 2020 Oscars tonight, Elton John won Best Original Song for the second time in his career. “(I’m Gonna) Love Me Again” from Rocketman won the award over songs from Toy Story 4 (by Randy Newman), Frozen II (“Into the Unknown”), Breakthrough (by Diane Warren), and Harriet (by Cynthia Erivo). “Wow, this doesn’t suck,” Taupin said as he and John stepped onstage to accept their Oscar.

Cynthia Erivo graced the stage tonight at the 2020 Oscars to perform “Stand Up.” The song appeared in Harriet, and is nominated tonight for Best Original Song. Erivo is also nominated for Best Actress tonight for her portrayal of abolitionist Harriet Tubman. Erivo performed in a glittering, high-collared gown. Watch it all go down below.

Scarlett Johansson celebrated her two nominations at this evening's Oscars with the best accessory by her side: fiancé Colin Jost. The couple cemented their status as the MVP couple of awards season after adorable outings at the Golden Globes and Screen Actors Guild Awards earlier this year. Johansson looked stunning in a cream Oscar de la Renta gown, while Jost stood out in a black tie suit.

Forty-five years after she was her mom Diane Ladd’s date to the 1975 Oscars, Laura Dern walked the red carpet with Ladd by her side at the 2020 Oscars on Sunday.

It would seem like the 90s are back, as the Oscars red carpet is awash with pink gowns reminiscent of Gwyneth Paltrow’s 1999 Ralph Lauren dress.
