Billie Eilish and her brother and co-producer Finneas took the the stage at the 2020 Academy Awards earlier this evening to perform a cover of The Beatles' "Yesterdy" as part of the annual In Memoriam segment celebrating the lives of iconic film stars who passed away over the past year. This year, the segment paid tribute to the late Kobe Bryant, Rip Torn, Doris Day, and Agnès Varda, among others.

The rousing, life-affirming "(I'm Gonna) Love Me Again" from Rocketman (Paramount) won the Oscar for best original song at the 92nd Annual Academy Awards on Sunday (Feb. 9).

The 2020 Academy Awards went down on Sunday night, and one of music’s biggest names came away with an award. Elton John took home the Best Original Song award for “(I’m Gonna) Love Me Again,” a track from his 2019 biopic Rocketman. He won alongside collaborator Bernie Taupin. It’s John’s second win and fourth nomination in the category, following a trophy for The Lion King’s “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” in 1995.

Elton John paid an emotional tribute to his husband David Furnish and their “beautiful boys” as he collected the Academy Award for Best Original Song on Sunday night.

After 53 years working together, Elton John and Bernie Taupin finally did it.

At the 2020 Oscars tonight, Elton John won Best Original Song for the second time in his career. “(I’m Gonna) Love Me Again” from Rocketman won the award over songs from Toy Story 4 (by Randy Newman), Frozen II (“Into the Unknown”), Breakthrough (by Diane Warren), and Harriet (by Cynthia Erivo). “Wow, this doesn’t suck,” Taupin said as he and John stepped onstage to accept their Oscar.

Twitter wasn’t too happy after Shia LaBeouf laughed while presenting at the 2020 Oscars with an actor with Down syndrome.

Tonight at the 2020 Oscars, Elton John took the stage to perform his new original song from the biopic Rocketman. John’s performance of “(I’m Gonna) Love Me Again” featured back-up singers, a red grand piano, and a jumbo pair of star-shaped sunglasses. Watch it all go down below.
