The new movie Orphan: First Kill is now in theaters and streaming on Paramount+, more than a decade after the release of the original film.
Isabelle Fuhrman reprises her role as Esther in the prequel, despite no longer being a child actress.
So, will Isabelle ever return to star in a third Orphan movie?

“I don’t know. I do know that [producer Alex Mace] has already talked to me about doing a third one,” Isabelle told Variety. “And if the script is good, and people love this one, why not? I would love to do that. I don’t think we’re gonna have to wait 13 years because I don’t think it’s gonna be possible in 13 years. When you’re in your 20s you can still look like younger if you get on a little stool chair, or have children play you from multiple angles. But I would love the opportunity if it came up. I wouldn’t say no.”
Orphan: First Kill director William Brent Bell talked about the possibility of a third movie too.
“I would never do it if Isabelle didn’t do it. And it would also have to be a really cool script. We talked… we joked about everything. There’s 30 years of her life [that we haven’t explored]. And there’s so much life experience that we can play with. And I think because of the tone of this movie, we can go darker and lighter. Make her more in-charge, and evil, but also have even more fun at times. So of course there is [potential there],” he said.
A big star brought up the movie earlier this year and it got Isabelle really excited!
