Brad Pitt might have a fighting chance in court over claims that his estranged wife Angelina Jolie offloaded her stake in their 1,000-acre Château Miraval estate behind his back, without giving him the first crack at purchasing her portion of the lavish $164 million French estate, according to one legal expert. Last Friday, Pitt sued Jolie over the sale, claiming that after the former pair purchased the property back in 2008, they agreed to never sell their respective interests without the other's consent.  Now, in a complaint obtained by Fox News Digital, the actor says the palatial abode was an investment buy "as a home to share with their children and the vineyard as a family business" and alleges that Jolie rushed to sell without his authorization.

Ever since their divorce, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s winery has been at the center of a dispute between the exes—and now, the future of the company remains even more uncertain.

Brad Pitt is suing Angelina Jolie over drama pertaining to their co-owned winery, Chateau Miraval, amid their on-going divorce. The Lara Croft actress, 46, has sold her 50% share of the company — which makes the very popular Miraval rosé wine — to  Russian oligarch Yuri Shefler per court documents, TMZ reports. HollywoodLife has independently confirmed the lawsuit through a source close to Brad and reached out for comment to both stars’ representatives regarding the report.

Brad Pitt has filed a lawsuit against his ex-wife Angelina Jolie for selling her stake in their Château Miraval, a French estate consisting of a home and vineyard in the south of France. The couple purchased a controlling interest in the property back in 2008 "as a home to share with their children and the vineyard as a family business," the complaint, filed by Pitt and plaintiff Mondo Bongo, LLC obtained by Fox News Digital, states.

Brad Pitt is not pleased with Angelina Jolie's latest business decision, so much so that he's suing his ex-wife over it. According to court docs obtained by ET, amid the couple's ongoing custody battle, Pitt is suing Jolie for selling Chateau Miraval Winery, which he is part owner of, to Russian oligarch, Yuri Shefler. The actor is seeking monetary damages, legal fees and for Jolie's sale of Miraval to Shefler to be voided.The couple bought the Correns, France-located winery back in 2008 and Pitt claims, he invested a ton of money and time in the winery over the years.While he acknowledges that Jolie put in 40 percent of the $28.4 million purchase price, Pitt claims he alone made the winery successful.
