Made in Chelsea star Ollie Locke has spoken about his and husband Gareth's vow to will continue trying for a baby after recently losing twins in surrogacy. Ollie, 34, and husband Gareth, have been long-trying to have a child via surrogate, and received the exciting news in November last year that she’d fallen pregnant. Sadly, just weeks later, Ollie announced his and Gareth’s surrogate has miscarried at six weeks.
Sharing a photograph of a baby’s dressing gown with ‘Baby Locke-Locke’ embroidered on it, Ollie shared the harrowing news with his 480,000 Instagram followers. Following the devastating news, Ollie has recently spoken to The Sun and revealed that their loss was even more painful as their surrogate had been pregnant with twins. "Then a couple of weeks later we had to call the producers and say ‘we’ve lost the babies’ – it was two babies – and they asked if we wanted them to scrap the episode. "I said absolutely not as I felt it was important to let people know that there are difficult times before happily ever after." The reality star says the tragedy is not going to stop their plans to become parents. He said: “It hasn't been easy at all but having a community of people around use who I didn't know – I've had thousands of messages from that one post alone from people going through the same – has helped.
