As Instagram users can attest, there's always an ongoing stream of comments to scroll through when celebrities, or any other individual for that matter, goes live on the social media app.

Yesterday, Diddy hopped on Instagram Live to host a Dance-a-Thon with a slew of celebrities to raise money for Direct Relief, a nonprofit that "rushes critical medicines and requested supplies to communities affected by poverty or emergencies throughout the world." Which is amazing, but things got super awkward when Diddy shut down Lizzo's twerking, saying "Whoa, whoa, whoa! It's Easter Sunday, let's play something a little more family friendly."

Diddy shut down Lizzo‘s twerking, after letting Draya Michele twerk her body on his Instagram Live, and received a ton of backlash for it.

It appears Diddy‘s latest “good deed” got lost in translation and landed him in hot water with fans over the weekend!
