A children's nurse has been arrested outside a children's hospital, leaving onlookers shocked.
The nurse was released minutes later in a confusing mix-up by Greater Manchester Police (GMP) at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital.
Police apologised to the nurse for her arrest. People who saw what happened described it as 'alarming' and 'upsetting'.

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, which runs the children's hospital, refused to comment on the incident.
A complaint has been made as part of the police that makes sure they are doing their job properly. GMP has also told the Independent Office for Police Conduct about what happened. It is believed this all happened on Saturday morning.
Assistant Chief Constable Wasim Chaudhry said: "We've apologised to a nurse and her colleagues for the understandable concern and distress caused after an officer handcuffed the nurse during an arrest outside Royal Manchester Children's Hospital on Saturday afternoon.
"Our Professional Standards Directorate has received a complaint and we've taken the arresting officer away from frontline duties while we conduct initial enquiries including reviewing full
