John Krasinski took the stage at the Colosseum this morning to unveil the first-ever look at A Quiet Place: Day One. The franchise spinoff directed by Michael Sarnoski stars Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff, Djimon Hounsou and Denis O’Hare. Release is set for March 8, 2024.

John Krasinski took to the stage to offer the first look at the next “Quiet Place” movie. Written and directed by Michael Sarnoski (who helmed Nicolas Cage’s “Pig”), the New York-set prequel will star Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff, Djimon Hounsou and Denis O’Hare.

Talk show host Jerry Springer has died at the age of 79. Springer's publicist Linda Shafran confirmed his passing to Fox News Digital on Thursday morning.  "Jerry’s ability to connect with people was at the heart of his success in everything he tried whether that was politics, broadcasting or just joking with people on the street who wanted a photo or a word," said Jene Galvin, a family spokesperson and friend of Springer's since 1970, in a statement. "He’s irreplaceable and his loss hurts immensely, but memories of his intellect, heart and humor will live on." Springer died peacefully at home in suburban Chicago after a brief illness, the statement said.

Thania Garcia Hollywood is mourning Harry Belafonte, the Calypso singer, award-winning performer and activist, who died on April 25 of congestive heart failure at age 96. The Caribbean-American entertainer is lauded as one of the most versatile recording artists of the 1950s and was one of the first Black leading men in cinema. He also had a fierce commitment to activism throughout the 60s and participated in numerous protests and marches including the Freedom March on Washington in 1963 (alongside his friend and actor Sidney Poitier) where Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his historic “I Have a Dream” speech. Tastemakers like Berry Gordy, Tony Bennett, Oprah Winfrey and more paid their respects and celebrated Belafonte’s work, calling him a “trailblazer” and “great entertainer.”

It was a heartwarming way to mark what would have been the late Queen's 97th birthday. But Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children were noticeably missing from the intimate snap of the late monarch with her great-grandchildren, released on 21 April.The photograph was taken by Kate Middleton at the Queen’s Balmoral home last summer - just weeks before Her Majesty passed away in September. Rachel McAdams is talking about the possibility of making an appearance in the big-screen adaptation of Mean Girls the Musical. Although the star seems unsure as to how it would happen, she’s game to if writer Tina Fey finds a way to do it.

There is still a long way to go until Wicked film hits theaters and director Jon M. Chu is teasing the musical dropping the first images of the film.
