Carpool Karaoke is back!
After a two-year hiatus, James Corden brought back the fan-favorite segment of his late-night talk show, The Late Late Show, on Wednesday night (April 6).
Nicki Minaj was the first star to join James in the passenger seat as they sang some of her biggest hit songs.

As they drove around, Nicki revealed why she loves doing her silly British accent, which says is based off of Adele‘s voice.
“People pay for these sort of viral moments, you know what I mean?!” Nicki said, mimicking Adele‘s voice.
She then shared her thoughts on Adele‘s rendition of her “Monster” rap, which Adele showed off when she did Carpool Karaoke a few years ago.
“It made me so happy. She embodied Nicki Minaj!” Nicki said, before later adding, “She’s singing these sad songs so you don’t expect it from her from.”
After that, Nicki and James then performed a little a cappella version of Adele‘s “Someone Like You.”
Also during the segment, Nicki and James sang along to “Anaconda,” “Monster,” “Someone Like You,” “Blick Blick,” “Super Bass,” “Do We Have A Problem?,” “Chun-Li,” and “Starships.”
