Nick Jonas Joins Forces With Paul Rudd for New Musical Comedy 'Power Ballad'

Glassjaw’s Daryl Palumbo, have returned with their first new music since 2006 in the form of ‘Bear The Cross’.The band resurfaced after a long absence in 2023, playing a series of shows around the US. The current line-up features Palumbo alongside Richard Flesh (bass), Craig Bonich (guitar), Chad Hasty (drums) and Eric Mitchell (electronics).And now, they are back with new material.

Bridgerton might be synonymous with soapy drama and steamy sex scenes but it’s also known for orchestral covers of classic pop songs.Created by Chris Van Dusen, the Netflix period drama follows the fictional Bridgerton family as they navigate London high society in the early 1800s.After two seasons and a spin-off, the show returned for a third season in May 2024. “Bridgerton” Season 3 promises plenty of balls and other social events, and music supervisor Justin Kamps pulled string song covers of several big-name artists for the orchestral pop music signature to the Netflix show. The needle drops heighten the luxurious social moments as well as more intimate and emotional ones.

The official logline for the film reads, “An uplifting music-driven story about a wedding singer, a rock star and the song that comes between them.” Jonas and Rudd are both known for their work on-screen with Jonas’ credits including “Camp Rock,” Scream Queens” and “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” and a TV performance of “Jersey Boys Live!” Rudd is known for “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire,” “Only Murders In The Building,” “Knocked Up” and Marvel’s Ant-Man films.
