Nick Grimshaw has shared that his summer wedding might not happen because he and his fiance keep forgetting to plan it before admitting that he'd rather kids than tying the knot anyway. Former Radio 1 DJ, Nick, announced in January that he wanted to marry his fiance Mesh Henry - full name Meshach Henry - this year ahead of of his milestone 40th birthday in August - but not before going to Glastonbury festival first.
Nick said he knew he would marry Mesh the moment he saw him in a pub smoking area back in 2019.
They couple have been together for five years and got engaged in March last year when Mesh asked Nick to marry him but now Nick has admitted that they don't remember to sit down and make wedding plans, but revealed that he does think about having kids one day. Speaking to The Mirror, Nick said: "Honestly? I know what you're going to say but I've not given it any thought whatsoever.
I obviously want to get married, we're engaged, and we're always like, 'yeah, we should do that' but we never get to planning, it doesn't get past talking about it." "It's probably not going to be this year. It's one of those things that I really want to do, but I also want someone else to organise it.
But I'm a bit of a control freak, and Mesh definitely is. I don't know who we could hand it over to.
