Broadway star Nick Cordero continues to battle the coronavirus, and wife Amanda Kloots offered an update to reveal he’s suffered another setback.
In an Instagram Story, Kloots noted that his lungs had become “severely damaged” due to the respiratory disease.
“Yesterday was a very hard day. He started off with low blood count. Luckily, Nick’s CT scans came back clear of internal bleeding as of now, so that was a huge blessing,” Kloots shared.

Kloots' latest update on Cordero comes days after the Broadway star underwent a tracheostomy. Cordero's wife, Amanda Kloots — who has chronicled his health struggles on social media since the beginning of April when he was, at first, diagnosed with pneumonia — on Saturday shared the somber news in an Instagram story.
