Let me be clear and let my mother know,” the Oscar-nominated actor told me Monday at the film’s Los Angeles premiere. “Joy Ride” is a raunchy R-rated comedy that stars Ashley Park as Audrey, a high-powered attorney who travels to China on business. Joining her on the trip are friends Lolo (Sherry Cola) and Deadeye (Sabrina Wu). Hsu plays Audrey’s college friend, Kat, who is now a Chinese soap opera star. The four find themselves in various bonker scenarios that include drugs, sex and even basketball star Baron Davis.

Ashley Park is sharing some insight into her  character. While speaking to ET's Denny Directo at the premiere of her new film, , Park said the role is a call back to her start in the acting business.«I don't think I'm allowed to say yet, but what I will say, if people know my roots of where I came from, they'll be happy in terms of how I started in this business,» Park, who was cast in season 3 of the hit Hulu series said.As for what you can expect from the show's third season, the  star said a lot of laughs from a group of legends.«I think what you can expect from season 3, is it's like, that cast with legends, and just the most gracious people,» she added of the star-studded cast, which added Meryl Streep, Jesse Williams and more to its roster for season 3.

Cola plays Audrey’s impulsive childhood best friend, Lolo, while Hsu tackles the role of soap star Kat. Wu adds a deadpan element as the sweet, socially awkward Deadeye.

Ethan Shanfeld Despite the air quality crisis in New York due to the Canada wildfires, as of Wednesday afternoon the Governors Ball festival is still set to take place this weekend in Queens. “We’re closely monitoring the air quality with weather experts and are in close contact with city officials,” a representative for the music festival said in a statement to Variety. “As always, the health and safety of New Yorkers is our top priority. At this time, the festival is continuing as planned. We are hopeful that conditions will improve in the coming days and are looking forward to a great weekend!” The three-day music fest, often referred to as Gov Ball, is scheduled for June 9-11 at Flushing Meadows with headliners Lizzo, Odesza and Kendrick Lamar. Lil Nas X, Haim, Lil Uzi Vert, Rina Sawayama, Diplo, Lil Baby, Omar Apollo, Pusha T, Aespa, Giveon and Sofi Tukker are also set to perform.
