In news that is both surprising and also not at all: Nicolas Cage is making his regular televison debut in the role of Tiger King super star, Joe Exotic in an upcoming eight-part scripted series.
According to Variety, the show comes from Dan Lagana, who was the show-runner for other Netflix sensation, American Vandal, and will be produced by Imagine and CBS.
It is based on a Texas Monthly article published in mid 2019 - before the Netflix documentary was released - titled Joe Exotic: A Dark
