New mum Naomi Campbell leads all-star Virgil Abloh tribute at Paris Fashion Week

Gigi Hadid is the latest celebrity to pledge her support towards the people of Ukraine. The 26-year-old model took to Instagram on Sunday, March 6 and promised that her earnings from Paris Fashion Week 2022 will go towards the relief efforts in Ukraine amidst attacks from Russian troops. Gigi also pledged monetary support to Palestine, where there’s been ongoing conflict with Israel. Her father Mohammad Hadid is of Palestinian origin.

The schedule began with the last of Virgil Abloh’s designs for his own brand Off White, and the beginning of a new chapter for the streetwear-cum-couture brand which lost its founder to a battle with cancer in November last year. After Abloh’s posthumous Louis Vuitton mega-show during men’s fashion month in January, anticipation was already at fever pitch.

And so it begins! Paris Fashion Week has officially arrived — and it’s starting off with a star-studded show. Everyone from Rihanna to Idris Elba came out to sit front row for the Off-White show, which marks the fashion house’s first presentation since founder Virgil Abloh’s death. Abloh passed away in November 2021 at age 41 following his private battle with cancer.

The 51-year-old supermodel stunned fans in May after making a surprise announcement that she had given birth to a baby girl. Campbell has now been pictured alongside her daughter for the first time in a series of amazing photographs for British Vogue.

Campbell, 51, stunned fans when she revealed she had welcomed a baby girl into her family last May.  The supermodel didn't give many details about her daughter at the time. "She wasn't adopted — she's my child," Campbell told British Vogue about her nine-month-old daughter in the March cover issue.
