In light of Queen Elizabeth II’s death on Sept. 9, the recently launched “Archetypes” delayed the release of new episodes “during the official mourning period for Her Majesty,” according to Spotify. The royal family’s official period of mourning ended on Sept. 26, seven days after the Queen’s funeral. Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, and Price Harry were in the United Kingdom for three weeks following the Queen’s death. Upon returning home to California, the couple intends to take a week off to spend time with their children, Archie and Lilibet.

Serena Williams has shown a glimpse of her life post-retirement and joked that she is now a “stay at home mum. ”The tennis legend played her final professional match earlier this month when she faced Ajla Tomljanović in the third round of the US Open. Now, she embarks on the next chapter in her life, which will see her focus on her family.
Williams posted an update on Twitter on Monday to mark a big moment in her daughter Olympia’s life. “Ok first day of Kindergarten,” the 23-time Grand Slam champion wrote, along with the hashtags #stayathomemom and #workingmom. Ok first day of kindergarten… #stayathomemom #workingmomOf course, despite Williams calling time on her tennis career, she is still very much involved in her other business ventures as well as being a mother to Olympia.
When she announced her retirement in her emotional write up, she worded it as she would be “evolving away” from tennis in order to focus on other aspects of her life. The main focus being on her family. However, despite making her decision, she admitted it was a seriously difficult one to make, and one that she felt she never would have needed to if she wasn’t a woman.
“Believe me, I never wanted to have to choose between tennis and a family. I don’t think it’s fair,” she said in her feature for Vogue. “If I were a guy, I wouldn’t be writing this because I’d be out there playing and winning while my wife was doing the physical labour of expanding our family.
