New all-star production of Sister Act coming to Manchester this summer

Brace yourselves sisters – the habit is coming to Manchester!
This summer, a brand new production of the Broadway and UK smash hit musical, Sister Act, will be running at the Palace Theatre.
The hilarious musical comedy will premiere in Manchester, from June 27 to July 9, ahead of a major London run.
All your prayers have been answered with a stunning all-star cast, including national treasure and comedy legend Jennifer Saunders as Mother Superior and The Greatest Showman’s incredible Keala Settle.
They are joined by TV and West End legend Lesley Joseph, star of Tracy Beaker and Olivier Award-winner Clive Rowe, West End sensation and Hairspray favourite Lizzie Bea, and Emmerdale and Waitress star Sandra Marvin as Deloris - everyone’s favourite nun on the run.
The story follows disco diva Deloris, as her life takes a surprising turn when she witnesses a murder. Placed under protective custody, she is hidden in the one place she shouldn’t be found – a convent!
Encouraged to help the struggling choir, she helps her fellow sisters find their true voices as she unexpectedly rediscovers her own.
Led by Jennifer Saunders as Mother Superior, the production features a wonderful cast of actors and artists.
Jennifer Saunders is a BAFTA award-winning actress, comedian and writer. She is one half of the highly successful and much-loved comedy duo French and Saunders and also wrote and starred in five series, three specials and a feature film of her hit comedy Absolutely Fabulous.
Tony-Award nominated actress and singer, Keala Settle, is the breakout star of 20th Century Fox’s The Greatest Showman, alongside Hugh Jackman, Michelle Williams, Zac Efron, and Zendaya. The Hawaii native’s performance of the film’s Oscar-nominated song,
