Netflix Takes a Crack at Interactive Comedy With 'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt' Special

Morgan Wallen's ''Chasin' You'' ascends 2-1 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart (dated May 23). In the week ending May 17, the track increased by 4 percent to 40.1 million audience impressions, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.The song is Wallen's third Country Airplay leader, all earned in succession.

“Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” is the gift that keeps on giving.

After four seasons, returns for an interactive movie,! The hilarious new special — a choose your own adventure in similar fashion to Netflix’s  -- picks up after the events of the series finale with Kimmy (Ellie Kemper) about to get married to Prince Frederick Windsor (Daniel Radcliffe). Before she can walk down the aisle, however, the discovery of an old book reveals that the Reverend (Jon Hamm) may still have women locked away in another underground hatch.

When Netflix rolled out its first interactive special, 2018's Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, it inspired the kind of pessimism that the anthology series was known for peddling about other technologies. In a New York Times interview, Netflix exec Todd Yellin argued that viewers would be more invested in a story if they had more involvement in which direction it headed.
