After winning a BAFTA, Critics' Choice Award, Golden Globe and SAG Award for her performance as divorce lawyer Nora Fanshaw in, Laura Dern capped off a season of accolades with the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress.

In Marriage Story, Scarlett plays Nicole, an actress who got her start in a risqué teen comedy but now collaborates with her husband, Charlie (Adam Driver), in their experimental theater group in New York. They have a very cute son named Henry, and they kind of still love each other, but that’s not enough to hold a marriage together.

The awards season is officially underway in Hollywood. From the Golden Globes and BAFTAs to the much-awaited Oscars 2020, it is indeed one of the few super glamorous weeks where we get to witness most of Hollywood's A-listers all under one roof. Apart from the big award shows, there are multiple small yet important shows that are held to recognise talent from all over. The most recent one was the 2019 Santa Barbara International Film Festival which was held in California. 

Streaming giant Netflix received strong support from filmmakers behind “The Irishman” and “Marriage Story” at the Producers Guild of America’s nominees panel on Saturday at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles.
