Netflix has released a first look preview at Bridgerton spin-off series Queen Charlotte, sending fans wild.The streaming giant took to social media over the weekend to share a short clip of Line of Duty star India Amarteifio as Young Queen Charlotte and Corey Mylchreest as Young King George. Netflix penned: "When Charlotte met George, a Ton love story began.
It is with great pleasure to share a first look at Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, a new series from Shonda Rhimes coming soon. #TUDUM." In the clip, it sees a young Queen Charlotte attempt to escape from her castle's garden so she doesn't have to greet or marry the King, who she is yet to meet.
However, she is soon interrupted by a young King George, who is left both baffled and amused by her attempts to runaway. Explaining her reasons, Queen Charlotte, who does not realise the person she is speaking to is in fact King George, claims the King is "clearly a beast or a troll" because "no one will speak of him." Asked if what he looks like matters, Queen Charlotte insists: "I do not care what he looks like, what I do not like is not knowing," as she asks his help to escape.
