The Nest star James Harkness has revealed he suffers from panic attacks since being assaulted with an axe as a teenager.
He was targeted by a group of thugs inside a lift at a block of flats on his 18th birthday.
James, who grew up in Glasgow’s Gorbals, said the experience led him into acting and he harbours no bad feeling towards the person responsible.
