Neighbours claimed that they heard shouting and fighting before a hit and run tonight, as a man was rushed to hospital in a life-threatening condition.
Tonight crime scene investigators in full forensics were taking evidence from a black Ford Fiesta left at the side of Victoria Avenue.
Officers closed off both ends of the residential road after a reports that a man had been hit by a car at around 5.40pm.
