NBCUniversal, Amazon Advise Employees to Immediately Work From Home

As many of us are coming to realise, working from home is harder than first thought. There’s the constant temptation of a trip to the fridge and home schooling kids, but working out video meetings is the one everyone seems to struggle with.

The major record companies are advising employees to telecommute effective immediately due to the coronavirus.Universal Music Group’s New York staffers are already telecommuting, while a full implementation of all U.S. offices, including Nashville and Los Angeles, will take place by March 18.

Paradigm Talent Agency is closing all of its offices starting Friday, sources tell Variety. There is no timeframe of when they will be reopened.

United Talent Agency is closing its numerous office locations to curb the spread of coronavirus, asking agents and employees to work from home, Variety has learned.

Following a similar move by fellow major agency UTA on Wednesday night, CAA and ICM have asked all employees to work from home, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. CAA's New York office was encouraged to work from home early Thursday, while the California office will work from home starting end of day Thursday.

As more and more offices close around the industry and world, CAA is closing its Century City Offices.
