NBC has given out its fifth drama pilot order for the 2020-2021 season.
The broadcaster has commissioned “Ordinary Joe.” It explores the three parallel lives of the show’s main character after he makes a pivotal choice at a crossroads in his life. The series asks the question of how different life might look if you made your decision based on love, loyalty or passion.

“Jane the Virgin” creator Jennie Snyder Urman is celebrating extending her CBS Television Studios overall deal with a pilot order at the Eye.
NBC News and MSNBC plan to be among the first and last news outlets focused on the New Hampshire primary, starting live coverage this evening on Chris Matthews’ “Hardball” and Chris Hayes’ “All In” and then continuing through Wednesday morning.
The CW has ordered pilots for the dramas “Kung Fu” and “The Republic of Sarah.” Both projects were previously set up at different networks prior to coming to CW.
