‘National Parks’: Ashlei Sharpe Chestnut & Blu Hunt Join ABC Drama Pilot

Nicole Richie and Shannon Woodward are teaming up for a new show!

Shannon Woodward (Westworld) has been tapped as the lead of ABC family comedy pilot Bucktown. Nicole Richie also has been cast in the project from a trio behind ABC’s The Conners, Emily Wilson, Sara Gilbert and Tom Werner.

Psych alum Dulé Hill is set as a lead opposite Elisha “EJ” Williams and Saycon Sengbloh in ABC’s The Wonder Years single-camera comedy reboot pilot. Additionally, newcomer Laura Kariuki (Black Lightning) is set as a series regular in the reboot from Dave exec producer Saladin Patterson, Fred Savage and Empire co-creator Lee Daniels.

Showtime has given a formal pilot green light to Let the Right One In, a vampire drama starring Demián Bichir (A Better Life). The project hails from Away creator Andrew Hinderaker, who will serve as showrunner, Seith Mann (Homeland), who will direct, and Tomorrow Studios, which has been the driver behind the project in its various incarnations for more than six years.
