Karl Wallinger, a star of The Waterboys and World Party, has sadly passed away at the age of 66.The musician's publicist confirmed that he died on Sunday (March 12). Karl, who was born in Wales, formed World Party in 1986 after leaving The Waterboys.Their debut album, Private Revolution, included popular songs like Ship Of Fools.They released several more albums, with their fourth, Egyptology, featuring the track She's The One.This song was later covered by Robbie Williams and reached number one on the UK charts in 1999. In 2001, Karl had a brain aneurysm which paused his career for a few years.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem has been confirmed for 2026.The action-animated adventure from director Jeff Rowe and writer-producers Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg was a critical success on its release last year and now a sequel has been green-lit.According to a new Paramount release slate, the follow-up to Mutant Mayhem will arrive on October 9 2026.Director Rowe is expected to return alongside the actors who played the turtles (Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu and Brady Noon) and April O’Neal (Ayo Edebiri).At the end of the first film, a return was also teased with the appearance of villain Shredder.Speaking to Empire last year, Rowe explained the villain must prove more menacing than Superfly – the villain from the last film.“The one thing I can say without spoiling anything is, [Shredder] needs to be 100 times scarier than Superfly – who is a credible villain, he’s dangerous, he’s strong, he seems like he could mess the Turtles up,” he explained.“Shredder needs to be that, just significantly more. Liam Neeson-led reboot of the iconic 1988 comedy film, The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!, is finally moving forward.Paramount Pictures revealed yesterday (February 28) that the upcoming reboot has secured a premiere date in July 2025. The film, which will be co-produced by Seth MacFarlane and Erica Huggins via Fuzzy Door, is set for release on July 18 next year, per Variety. The Lonely Island member Akiva Schaffer, who is set to direct the reboot.The project has been in the works for some time now, with Neeson in talks to lead the rebooted franchise as early as 2022.
