The National Association of Broadcasters has canceled its April conference in Las Vegas, amid the global public health concerns over coronavirus, or COVID-19. The organization is “considering a number of potential alternatives” to the event.

Rockers ZZ Top and country icons Reba Mcentire and Brooks & Dunn have added their Las Vegas residency shows to the growing list of live events postponed amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Cirque du Soleil, creator of many of the most popular shows in Las Vegas, said Saturday that it is temporarily suspending its productions in the city as well as around the world because of the new coronavirus outbreak. In a statement, the company said it made the decision based on public health authorities calling for people to limit their social interactions to stop the spread of the virus.
Kelly Clarkson is the latest star to be affected by the coronavirus pandemic, which has shut down production on her hit TV talk show and Las Vegas residency.

As concern continues to grow over the worldwide spread of COVID-19, commonly known as coronavirus, many are taking proactive measures to keep themselves safe from the flu-like virus, which can be fatal in the most extreme cases.

In Las Vegas, resorts including MGM, Wynn and Venetian are taking action to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, marking the first significant moves to address COVID-19 by the city’s entertainment industry, where there so far have been no government mandates to limit the size of gatherings.
The latest to cancel large gatherings to protect from the coronavirus are the Jonas Brothers, who took to social media on Friday (March 13) to announce that they will be canceling their upcoming Las Vegas residency.
